Taking Charge® examines the power of language to close or open possibilities for learning and effective action in life. Through a system of conversational analysis called Linguistic Coaching®, we observe and listen to how the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves and others, our self-narratives, can close or open possibilities. As Linguistic Coaches, we observe the underlying commitments in our speaking and listening that empower us to take effective action. Taking Charge® invites us to recognize that we are all whole, able, and complete just the way we are and just the way we are not.
